Knowledge docs
Meumenta Knowledge exposes its functionality to AI assistants through the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
Connecting an AI client
Add Meumenta as an MCP server in your AI client. The endpoint uses MCP Streamable HTTP and OAuth authorization:
https://meumenta.com/learning/mcpOn first use your AI client will ask you to authorize access. Sign-in works with Google, Apple or an email verification code — no passwords.
This is the same MCP connection used by Meumenta Learning — connecting once gives your AI assistant both Knowledge and Learning tools. They're separate products internally, sharing one connection for now.
Core concepts
WorkspaceOne knowledge base — the root container. Everything below belongs to exactly one workspace.
DocumentPrimarily human-readable content: a note, a chapter, a recipe. Can be tagged with topics and nested under a parent document.
EntityA structured thing — a person, place, project, or any kind you define. Open properties, not a fixed schema.
FactA statement linking an entity to a value or to another entity. Append-only: correcting one just adds a new fact.
get_contextRetrieval: ask for documents, entities and facts relevant to a name or tag, instead of pulling the whole workspace.
Status
Meumenta Knowledge is under active development. This documentation is a placeholder and will grow together with the product.
